After your Instagram stories have been deleted, you are able to view them again. Here's how.

There's a method to look through, download and reuse your old Instagram posts.

Click the circular clock icon in the upper right corner of your profile.

You may need to alter the settings of your application if nothing appears.

 

Your Instagram Stories may appear to disappear in 24 hours. But they aren't.

You can view or download your old posts. This feature was announced by Instagram in December 2017. You probably didn't know about it.

Here are some tips to get the most out of it.

Click the circle clock icon in the upper right corner of your profile. You can then view old stories.

This will show you your previous Instagram stories -- including videos and photosthat you can download to your phone.

 

The archive even shows the date that you posted each post.

 

This archive is only visible to you.

Your archive might go back a few months, based on when you made changes to Instagram after it rolled out the new feature in December of 2017.

The length of your archive back is contingent on the date you updated your application.

 

If you don't see anything in your archive, you may need to change your settings.

In the Instagram app, scroll down to Story Controls.

You can access your settings by pressing the small gear icon on your iPhone or by clicking the three dots if you have an Android.

 

It is recommended to ensure that "Save to Archive" is enabled.

This may not have been possible for everyone.

 

Clicking on the word "Archive" once you have it open, you can switch between your archived stories and the photos you have stored manually.

Photos or videos that you save manually will be displayed in "Posts."

 

Now, enjoy spending hours watching back the many photos and videos that you've taken.
